Eternal Soldier presents a unique virtual book group on movies dramatizing military service and the ancient tales those films are based on. Led by the Eternal Soldier team, participants discuss topics with experts, sharing stories of their service and learning about the ancient world.

Films and texts we will discuss: Troy (2004) and Homer's Iliad; Warriors (1979) and Xenophon's Anabasis; 300 (2006) and Herodotus' Battle of Thermopylae; Chi-Raq (2015) and Aristophanes' Lysistrata.
