Josh Cannon, PhD, enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2000 and did two combat tours in Iraq as an Arabic Linguist. As an archaeologist, he spent a decade working in Cyprus and Turkey focusing on the Late Bronze Age. He now works and teaches at the University of Pittsburgh.
